Michael Owen is set for a dramatic return to Anfield and if he does, Liverpool would have the deadliest strike force in the EPL and we will be abe to challenge Chelsea for the title. The Super Cup is just a start of things to come. Owen has already publically stated his reluctance to join Newcastle, who have lodged a 16 million offer, unless it is based on a season-long loan. With the arrival of Robinho in Real, Owen's would be warming the bench more often. A move to Anfield would do him good and a place in England squad. After all, which team won the Champions League last season for the fifth time!
Talking about Champions League, Everton has failed to qualify for the 2nd phase. It should be a relief to all Liverpool due to the fact of how much they were boasting last season. It just to show that they are not ready for the bigger competitions. A quick check shows that they are at the bottom of the table these season with just one win. Where's Liverpool then? Well, we're mid-table with two games in hand! A win in both games would put us second place if not third. Even Wigan is above Everton, man! I tell you, Wigan is the team to watch these season, they kept Chelsea at bay for 93 minutes and that deserves a standing ovation! *applause* . I certainly hope they go on and beat Man United. hee ... hee
Well, its gonna be an interesting season and we are gonna give Chelsea a run for their money these season! I have this thing aganst Chelsea now because of Mourinho and I hope Liverpool kicks them out of the Champions League, just like they did last season!
