ytd was crazy.. never been too so many places in a single day. first stop was of course - work!! maintened a service level of 100!! gonna repeat the feat tmr which will be a big challenge coz its a monday!! a thought juz occured to me, since everybody hates monday can we just do our own things - forget abt calling, sending or replying an email or hold any meetings coz nothing goes through!! we wanna recover from the weekend.. ;p
anyways, i went to seoul garden @ taka for lunch with my colleagues not expecting anything, all i knew it was a belated birthday for my colleague. this people also celebrated my birthday along with other jan/feb babies. they even got us a balloon.. that explains why i was carrying 'patrick' (from sponge bob) all around ytd. so after eating ur fill, they brought out the cake and i wondered how i manged three slices of it. nonetheless, it was vey sweet of us guys.. thanks very much! :)
after lunch, the gals did abit of shopping at taka n centrepoint before walking down to the esplanade. its was a long walk indeed that they had to stop to get a drink at 7-11. :p upon reaching the esplanade, we went our separate ways.. went to find the gang but bump into chole n tim instead. then i saw tony & angie with the kids - was surprised to see them there actually. finally found mel and the rest. spoke to camra for awhile, its been a long time since i last met them. the gig was great - really liked their version of 'enjoy the silence', it was loud!! haha.. applause guys!!
after the second set, we sat down at harry's for a while before joanne had to leave for sentosa, cafe del mar. so mel drove us all the way to sentosa and just for the records, its been a freaking long time since i step into sentosa and i was practically excited..haha. oh yes, i hve not been to vivo city..i've only passed by it like three times only. so yea.. this is what happens when i work at the other side of the island. hahaha...
anyways, after dropping joanne off at sentosa.. mel dropped mary anne and myself at river valley and off to gotham penthouse we went. she was certainly in for a treat as four hunks clad n briefs only started dancing on the stage and all the gals were juz screaming. after showtime, we went to another location, as the gal wanted rnb music, so we entered attica,paid $28 for each and left without getting ourselves a drink. that plac is cetainly a ripoff. the freaking area was so small and cram and certainly not worth the $28 bucks. so yes, i blew $56 just like that. we went back to gotham and remain there till 5am. for $15 each, gotham was certainly worth it.. met two friends there infact and i must say i shld come down to gotham more often, lots of pretty gals not just that, pretty indian gals too!! hahaa... took the cab home and for once, a gal sent me back home.. :) its was indeed a weekend to remember!! cheers!!
