life sucks!

was looking so forward to the weekend and all, but what happens..our pay gets delayed for a whole week, a whole bloody week, can u believe it!!!!! crap right!!!! fucking hate this people...basically someone sat on his/her fat ass and took her/his own bloody fucking time to get it done. I won't be surpise if they haven't started on it yet!! while they enjoy their weekend on their fat asses, me and colleagues will have to wonder how to survive the whole week with our resources have almost dried up... i know that some of us didn't go for lunch today and ytd, all i had today was..... nothing so far. while some people eat inbtwn meals and snacks, in btwn fries and burgers, inbtwn popcorns and hotdogs, inbtwn pizzas and spicy chicken and sit on their fat asses all day and do nothing, i'll be there wif my AK47....shooting their bloody brains out!! its gonna be a bloody sight i tell ya!! u'll see no blood but food all over the place, fuck u cannot even see the freaking desk!! come on, what the fuck were these people thinking off for a whole bloody month?? are they slow in counting or something?? or they just can't be bothered! its not their salary after all. hope they get robbed, wasted and left in some alley to die and declared as lost!! so lost that they wont be featured in Missing coz no one will miss them!! yes, no one will miss u, you hear me!! so why carry on leaving?? there's nothing a AK47 can't cure, but if u can't do it...just blindfold urself! BOOM!!! u just did the world a favor!!! Thank you!

Yes, life is just like you, it sucks!!!! hope u get wasted over the weekend, so wasted that u can't remember ur mother's name...you never did anyway!! why do i freaking bother...

anyways, juz wanna let u guys know that i've sold my phone to tie up loose ends. so i'll be uncontactable for the time being so dont bother! I'll just be 'living on the edge' for a while!

there's something about jen!

well, it has been yet another fun-filled weekend and nope we didnt go clubbing again, thats this weekend's agenda!! lol. Most of ytd's weekend was spent in church! Now how can that be fun right.....! Well, like i said, its the company that makes it fun and enjoyable. :) never laugh so hard and i tell u every conversation we had, always find its way back to jen, no matter what the topic was!! And i tell you, if she had a friendster account, i wld leave her a testimonial thats reads lke this. 'What happened to the sweet catholic girl i used to know?'!!! hahahaha...

We're planning to bring her clubbing next month; her first virginal exp to da club!! It's gonna be like the event of the year!! Everyone and everybody will turn out, i tell ya!! The joke was even her mom will tell her, 'what took you so long!!' and takes out a wine bottle that has been kept specially for this occassion and the dad will call up his friends and relatives using the 'red phone'!! We'll have a prior celebration at the void deck with all the relatives from across asia!! Maybe, they will declared it a holiday! Jen's day!! LOL...

Jen, on the other hand has kept us entertained during the weekend... from the 'magic trick' she showed us on friday to the massage conversation we had on saturday and to eating pasta on sun. My beloved sister, not sure what cause the change but she has opened up so much that sometimes its scary!! hahahaha... realised that this is the first time that i'm blogging abt her... :p yup, i love this crazy little sister of mine...soon to be weird but we will still love her; it juz the travelling to IMH will be a hastle. LOL!! juz imagine, instead of visting churches, we will be visting jen every sunday! hahahaha...i swear she's gonna kill me if she ever read this! :p you know i love you sis! hahahhaa....

anyways, i just realised that it's gonna be one mth since i started work, how time flies! and finally i am getting paid!! Woohoooooooo!! going to get paid this weekend!! of which it juz brought to mind that my cousin and family will be migrating to australia on apr 3rd. Which means i won't get to watch my god-daughter grow up or see my very good friend. u see my best friend married my second cousin. Its the most beautiful thing that happened to her as she went thru a lot of ups and downs. well, i am gonna miss her lotssss... planning to have dinner with them this weekend too! not sure how i am gonna work this out. On friday, gonna catch 'Camra' perform @ HOME. Sat gonna catch them @ Substation (not cfm as yet), might be meeting up with fiza for dinner too, and on sunday gonna have dinner with my cousin & family! its gonna be a busy weekend!

hmmm.... no sure why but i'm feeling all warm and good inside, a big contrast from my last post but i'm not in love. not sure where this vibe is coming from but it feels good and i hope its stays for a while. :):):)

I was watching Ladder 49 ytd on VCD and it juz blew me away. The question travolta mentioned, 'how can you walk into a burning building when everyone else is running out!' 9/11 didn't real hit me as it was hard to imagine but after watching Ladder 49, it kinda hit me and i ask myself the same question. so to all firefighters around the world, "I Salute You!!" I guess no one has a tougher job than u guys!! Keep The Faith!!

Everything will be okie. its just one of those days...where you feel all alone in a big, big world! feeling tired and sleepy....good night world! hoping tmr will be a better day!

Give me Sugar Cane

it has been a good weekend, i must say!! got up early and went for mass @ risen christ, toa payoh. after which, had lunch @ fork and spoon with jen & joanne p. from there we had to rush back to yishun for combined choir prac. took the train but realise a station later than we were heading the wrong way. got off at orchard and took the train back to yishun. combined prac today was kinda okie, still had much to work on. had lunch again at our regular prata joint, this time with mel. we talking abt what happened on friday @ new asia bar and the previous clubbing experiences. and after all the assurance and promises, Jen is going on her first clubbing next month and the whole world is invited! Its gonna be one clubbing experience that will never be forgotten. ITs gonna be FUN!!

anyways, called fiza today, its been like a month since we last spoke to each other and everything's cool. the last time i actually spoke to each other was on my birthday when we went fishing! :) it was good talking to her again after all this while and it made me realise i do miss her. so we're planning to meet up pretty soon for dinner, venue still undecided coz we came up with quite a few...hahaha. well, its gonna be good seeing her again.

its been a nice weekend, hope it gets better next weekend. its almost three now and i should be getting some sleep, cheers to a great work/school week ahead. God Bless!

Top of the World

Celebrated Joanne's birthday ytd at New Asia Bar. The view from New Asia Bar was just spectacular, what else would you expect when u r on Level 72, dancing to the latest music admist the beautiful skyline. It's a sure place to go if u wanna impress ur date. Anyways, as I was saying, Joanne celebrated her 23rd birthday there and after knowing her for 10 good years, ytd was the very first time seeing her high and dry. Two round of waterfall back to back got her seeing the world at the diff respective. It was a mixture of happy & sad high. This small girl can really puke loads man. Heard that she was still puking some 12 hours later.

Here's a little advice for the young at heart- if you intend to go clubbing and getting wasted, do make sure you have trusted friends around you. Who will be able to take care of you and send you right to your doorstep.

And after all the puking and cursing everthing that you hate in your life and all that jazz, you wake up sober the next day and call your friends thanking them for everything and apologising but at the same time, you'll find yourself saying, 'We should do this again!'

So, yes, it was yet another swell night out with a bunch of beautiful friends. Thanks to robin & melvin for footing the bills, come month end, it will be my turn! Its gonna be yet another great night out! Love u guys! Will upload the pics as soon as i get it from Joanne, in the meantime please show your support for the Ms Singapore Universe 2006, MSU07 and SMS to 73388.

A hole in the heart!

We found out when Kristie was just a week old that she had a septal defect - a hole in the heart. We began seeing a cardiologist who advised us to wait and see if the hole would close on its own. He said that most holes actually do close spontaneously. But by the time Kristie was 3, the hole hadn't shown any signs of change. Our cardiologist felt it was time to have it repaired and recommended open-heart surgery.

We had more or less decided to go ahead with surgery when we were told of the Nemours Cardiac Center and Dr. Moore. He explained interventional catheterization as an alternative to surgery and showed us the device that could be used to fill the hole in Kristie's heart. After examining her, he felt she was an ideal candidate for the new procedure.

At first, we were a little skeptical about the catheterization because it was so new and there wasn't much of a track record. But after meeting with Dr. Moore, we had complete confidence that this was the way to go. He gave us an account to read of another patient he had done. We also researched the procedure on the Internet and felt more reassured.

It turned out to have been absolutely the right decision. The procedure took just a few hours. That evening, Kristie was ready to jump out of bed - she was feeling just great. We were in the hospital for less than 2 days. Kristie went home with no stitches, no pain - just a band-aid on her groin where the catheter was inserted. Her follow-up shows that everything has healed perfectly. And naturally, we were especially relieved that we didn't have to put her through open-heart surgery.

We are a family that feels very happy and grateful to have both the Nemours Cardiac Center and Dr. Moore to turn to. - Kristie's parents

Just found out today that my little niece, Isabella, has a hole in her heart; she's only 16 days old. my bro found out today from the doctors and he's pretty much upset. Little Isabella has to be on medication till the situation gets better. how long will that be, i do not know.

If anyone has any similiar experience or encountered such situations, please do share. Hope Isabella will have a happy ending just like little Kristie! Please do pray for me little niece!

Knights of the Round Table!

realised something ytd and i told myself how could i let myself down the same road again. guess i am trying too much and hard for nothing. anyways, harry's was a blast! we almost brought the whole place down, man! never have i had so much fun just chilling out with good friends! After which, we headed down to KTV @ orchard and things just went wild. we sang and then we screwed almost every song up! ;p i had a great time out, we should do this again! Yup, New Asia next friday!

Sometimes its not the place u're at but the company that makes it memorable. So to the guys and babes, thanks for the memorable time; and to andi - i just wanna tell u one thing, "WE DIDNT START THE FIRE!!" Have a great time at Civil Defence, man!! Finally, they got ur freaking ass to do something good for the nation; just don't drop that soap!! lol

Time check: 0800hrs (8am), been out for the past 15 hrs and i'm heading out again. Meeting Venassa for mass @ Risen Christ, then we're gonna do breakfast after which i'm heading back to yishun again for combined choir practise @ 1pm and it will last till three odd. so yup, i have not slept and will not be sleeping for the next 12 hrs i guess. But in the words of our forefathers, "jia you!!"

okie okie, i'm gonna be late! i'm outta here!

Edited @ 2000hrs (8pm)

Didn't get to meet Ven as she wasn't feeling well, so i made a detour to The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd as they rest would be there. The choir was awesome, but then again its the infamous Peter Loh's Choir, so you don't expect to hear anything less...awesome stuff!! the only flaw was the sound system, someone seriously has to fix the delay and cancel out the reverb on the altar mics, man. It ain't the National Stadium.

Party Starter!!

If u are reading this and I know you, head down to Harry's @ Esplande tonight! coz there's gonna be a party tonight, a party tonight, oh ya!

Spirits in the Material World

Watch this video first.

The first time I saw it, it gave me goose bumps but upon watching it for the thired time, I discovered a certain flaw. If u look closely, the 'spirit' can be spotted when the guard radios in. So obviously they would have seen it already. So I think it's bull, the thing looks like a cut out or a fig. 11 drap in white cloth.

NOW, let me draw ur attention to something else that i've spotted. Look and u'll see a small white thingi just after the barrier pole, the same time they saw the 'fig 11'. The small white thingi which looks like a light, hops above the fence as it ends and you know what they say abt light thingi. It mysteriously appears in some photos. Hmmmmm..... so let me know if u see it too.

Its FRIDAY!

Today was a good day @ work. I was intially worried that I won't be able to stay awake the whole day as I pretty stoned out; but my colleague made the morning passed by without a hitch. Lunch was at half passed one and the afternoon passed by so fast and I mananged to solve some issues today with the help of her. Pretty happy with myself today. Yup the weekend is finally here!!!

This is ANFIELD!

Its funny that, liverpool won the champions leagues last season without much strikers available to them. These season, they've got, Fernando Morientes, Djibril Cisse, Peter Crouch and yet they have failed to find the net! Robbie, on the other hand, has found the back of the net, however, his goals has been disallowed. Such is the fact of Liverpool, where goals were mostly scored by midfielders and defenders, last season and not surprisingly, this season as well. Guess Rafa has to start looking for consistent strikers and i would prefer him getting players from the academy rather than elsewhere.

What Liverpool needs are true scousers; carra, robbie, owen, macca and gerrard, all came from the youth academy. Under Houllier, they have won five trophies in 2001. The Worthington Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Charity Shield. The only thing that eluded them was the League Champions Title. After winning five trophies, one would imagine that the league title will be Liverpool's next season. But the unexpected happened; Houllier sold macca, redknapp, fowler, berger and bought players who eventually had to be sold by rafa.

This season I expect Rafa to sell Crouch, Cisse and maybe Morientes. Bring back Pongolle, Le Tallec, Mellor and giving players from the academy a chance to play in the big stage. Here's a glimpse of the youth team and I expect some of team will find their way into the senior squad soon.

Even though we lost, we will still keep our heads high and will reign Europe next season again. Next stop, Arsenal!

You Will Never Walk Alone

Chelsea

"Mourinho: We were the better team again!" What more can Mourinho say after losing to Barca but the same old line from last year, after losing to Liverpool in the Champions League quater-finals.

days like this

do you ever get the feeling that you just want to get away from everything and just chill out with friends during the work week?? Yup, today was one of those days but, i came home instead. intended to sleep early but here i am again. Contemplating, should i watch the champions league match and risk another tired day @ work or just sleep over it. But it will be such joy to watch chelsea getting their ass kicked out of champions league. its like the ad i posted in Feb' 06.

Chelsea squad - 150 Million pounds
Buying Didier Drogba - 24 Million pounds
Ticket for the match - 30 pounds

Seeing an arrogant C**t's and a load of glory-hunter's dreams go up in smoke

PRICELESS!!!

yup, its just one of those days!

Far Away

Far Away
Lyrics - All The Right Reasons :.
Nickelback

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there’s just one left
‘Cause you know,
you know, you know

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you’ll be with me
and you’ll never go
Stop breathing if
I don’t see you anymore

On my knees, I’ll ask
Last chance for one last dance
‘Cause with you, I’d withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I’d give it all
I’d give for us
Give anything but I won’t give up
‘Cause you know,
you know, you know

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you’ll be with me
and you’ll never go
Stop breathing if
I don’t see you anymore

So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
‘Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
‘Cause I’m not leaving
Hold on to me and
never let me go

back on the road again...

On 28th Feb, we welcome little Isabella to the family! So I have now, three nieces and a nephew, suppose to my little niece today but i had choir practise for the holy week. she's like five days old today, so cute yah! her sister(2 years old) was like talking to her even when she was in the mother stomach and how she was amazed when she first laid her eyes on her. i guess she was overjoyed and delighted to see her. its sometimes nice to have kids around! last week my four year old nephew pulled a fast one on my mom. you see, my mom and my eldest bro's family was at the shop where my mom bought something, on seeing that my nephew immediately told me mom not to buy a lot of things as he won't be able to carry it. my mom got the hint and bought him something to eat. kids just say the darnest thing! ;p

On 1st March, I started my job at a call centre @ IBP, Jurong. So far its okie, had to answer calls on our second day there, how's that for a start! Still got a mountain to climb though. Not sure how tmr will be but i'm hoping for the best. 26 days to pay day, sigh, thats how broke i am after not working for a long time but with God's grace, i'll be able to make it though somehow.

Tired and hungry now, had combined choir practise today for holy week. Fr J.J is a big boost to the choirs and its great to have him back in our Parish. After practise, we headed to Northpoint for late lunch. Fred, Mel, Corrinne, Pat, Julia, Jen, Hatsuee, Melissa and myself. After that, under Julia nose, we went around Northpoint hunting for a pressie but i felt bad as i didnt/couldnt contribute to it as i'm dead broke. but nonetheless, she was excited at all the gifts she received. after which we headed to starbucks, minus hatsuee and melissa. Not sure why but there was never a dull moment when Fred is around, even Jen was at her best today. We almost brought the roof down at starbucks. While sitting at Starbucks, with dessert and drinks, reminded me of secret recipe in jb and suggest that we head there again one day but the response wasn't overwhelming. Mel suggested going to KL instead; dump the younger ones at the hotel room & head to zouk! :p Sigh, sometimes i wish that the good times will just roll and never have to end. That time will just stand still whenever we're out having a good time.

anyways, felt bad about something today. i am juz trying to reach something that is not accessible, not in this lifetime anyway.
