mad monks..

went mad monks today wif mel...(more like ytd), for his friend's album launch. met my ex-citibank colleague, nicole, who is still looking good as ever. found out from her that veron and diana got married. hope to catch up with the rest of the jing bang again soon. the band, last transmission, comprises of 4 guys, 2 gals. the four guys - drummer, bass guitar, rythmn guitar, lead guitar and the gals - lead vocal and keyboard. they are good but as usual the vocals always gets drowned by everything else. u should have seen the soundman, he looked like someguy from a coffeeshop and he dress like that too. u should have seen the stress look on his face and half the time he was scratching is head. he looked like a guy who rather be at a karaoke pub belting out chinese songs than listening to some teenagers screaming their lungs out. the first band was like awesome...awesome because everything else drown the vocals. which apparently is the problem always, cause everybody want to be heard....in the end, it just become noise. but go and check out last transmission, they are good!!

so in the end all good things have to come to an end. we left mad monks before 2300hrs and headed home. yes, we even beat the midnight charge...went down to 848 and had supper with caroline. met up with caroline's bro for the first time when we under her block. finally left close to 0200 hrs... it was fun. :)

i was reading a friend's blog and what this friend wrote abt. Its like same shit, diff day. if the system does not change, it will all crumble soon but sometimes it not the system but the people. improvements have to be made but we can't bark down without improving within first. spiritual, disciple and atitude are the only improvements that one need but i guess once we are more spiritually inclined the rest will become naturally. But if we are to reject the idea thinking its far fetched than why are we sent to lead the blind when we ourselves are blind or are we just pretending not to be. its like a phrase that i have mentioned quite a while back .. i may be in church but i feel i'm away from church. you are not doing God a favour by coming to church every weekend belting out songs when ur heart and mind is somewhere else, but at the same time you're thinking that ur name is chop, sign and sealed in heaven. we are all to grow spiritually and by HIM all things will fall into place. HE has never failed us, but we all have failed HIM many times!
