happy birthday!

This one is for you manda the panda!

here's how the story goes:
"andi wanted to surprise you with a dinner. initial plan was at top of a carpark near your place. the idea sounded good but lack of logistics. then caroline came into the pic and suggested rene place beside the swimming pool. the scenario, andi's gonna pretend that he has forgotten your b'day or give an excuse that he can't celebrate it with u. then i am supposed to come into the pic and 'rescue' you. keep you occupied while he prepare the stuffs and bring it to rene's place. then i'm supposed to tell u tat the choir is having a surpise for u at rene's place. at the entrance of the condo, u r supposed to blindfolded and brought in. then right there infront of u will be yr bf beside the table by the pool. a candlelight dinner for two. we're the helpers... if you have watched "the terminal" you will get the idea. so now u know why i was asking you out for yr b'day. LOL... unfortunately, the idea didnt work out as you have dinner with your family. so me and andi was like shit shit... thinking of alternatives dates... like friday but we got clubbing, so decided to have it on sat. but rene's place was unconfirmed, so alternative was church canteen. so everything was okie and set. then someone told me that the choir has been invited to the wedding dinner on sat. we totally gave up and surrendered! threw in the white flag!" (people you should thank - caroline, rene, mel and joanne p who agreed to help out.)

plan two....since we planned to go clubing, i wanted to surpise you on friday. sent email to everyone but i guess i confused everyone also! initial plan was phuture, then carol suggested obar as you love the place the last time u went there. so changed to obar! the first person that was so gung ho about it was dianna! she was so excited about it. so found out if we cld bring a cake in and age limits. cake was okie, but dianna who is a few months short of 18, was not okie. was thinking a way ard, called up a friend of mine and checked with her too...she said that the place is quite scrict. met debbie, who said the same thing, but will try to sneak her in. everything was going well. then on the day itself, you sms me that you couldnt make it....it was like the stock market crashing, i tell you. i messaged everybody this, "manda the panda is down with a tummy upset and might not make an appearance tonight. however, the show will still go on, please confim your attendance. btw, her diet physician is under investigation :p" like mel put it... after he received my message abt u not able to make it, he received a long list of ppl not being able to make it. even amanda yap who's b'day we wanted to celebrate also had a tummy upset. its was damn depressing... so since the number had gone down, i suggested to change the venue to coco latte! mel was on about it.
met up with joanne p for dinner, then receive carol's message to change venue back to obar as her cousin's friend still wants to go there. so venue changed back to obar! called carol and found out that we got a ride! got a call from debbie, who changed her mind and wanted to come...cool but there's gonna be five of us in the car, hmmmm?! bumped into andi who had a hair cut that he was proud of. so we sat down and planned to surprise you for a 'second time'. went ard looking for cakes, he wanted to get u the power rangers cake but we decided to look ard. saw the mango cake and spend ten minutes debating if we should get the big or small one. finally settled for the small one. andi brought the cake back home, while joanne and me went up to carol's place and debs came over. mel met us downstairs.

soon our ride came and it was a spacewagon... cool! on the way, carol's colleague, mazlan convinced amanda yap into coming. drove over to her place to pick her up, but had to wait for her for abt half an hr, the same time mazlan took to wait for his food which didnt came. went up to the drinks stall and they totally refused to serve me, man! waited a good ten mins to be served but they didnt bother at all even after i'd put my two cans there....went back and sit down leaving my two cans there, was so fustrated. after calming myself down, i went a second time, got served but only for awhile. behind me the drink lady shouted her orders of two coffees and she was quickly served. another one came in with another order and she was served too. i was totally forgotten again...luckily an extra helper came in and served me. finally amanda arrived and we were on way again. we took a slight detour to pick up rodney at hougang, then finally we were on our way with eight ppl in the car - mazlan, caroline, rodney, myself, joanne p, debbie, melvin and amanda. saw u guys at the entrance, it was a pleasant surprise to see grass there! went in and met amanda yap's friends. then all of the sudden the group just kept on increasing...i think they were like twenty of us there right??? went in and out making plans with andi over the phone and getting his eta. finally andi arrived and surprised you! :)"

we left obar and headed to china black! when we reached there it was almost four, danced to some hip hop but it soon changed to trance. found out from sophie that its hip hop from 1 to 4. so we just sat there with trance music pumping. you could literally feel everything vibrating to the beat.soon all good things have to come to an end. walked down to newton circus for an early breakfast of mee goreng...hahahaha. came back home at 0800hrs, showered changed, went to church for the wedding. didnt stay for the reception, came back home at 1200hrs and slept, woke up at 1600hrs. went back to church again for mass. had dinner after mass and here i am at work! its 0315 hrs on a sunday morning. tis time ytd we were outside obar discussing our next route. oh yes, got to know fiza while stoning at china black! she had the impression that joanne was my gf! as the music was increase louder we communicated thru our hp and thats how i asked for her number! hahaha... she's sweet and pretty! :) okie here a list of ppl that came ytd and i would like them everybody for being there;
