reach out

joan's song was written by friends of joan's who sang it at her funeral, i guess almost everyone was holding back the tears. joan's friends at the pulpit were just breaking down while singing this song. i guess joan has touched many during her time on earth and my only regret is that we didn't get to know joan even though we're from the same parish, which is quite sad actually. i guess we are contended with our group of friends that we hardly reach out to others but expect them to come to us. we are more concerned with whom we hang out with and how it will effect our image. we don't want to be seen with losers, nerds or nitwips, they're like from another world.

so we forget ourselves and become someone that we are not. when we are all alone by yourself, we feel something's missing and to the silence of night, we cry cause deep down these is not who we are. and in the same silence of night; the nerds, losers and nitwips cry out to the night, just to be accepted in this world. i guess it high time that we wake up from our fantasy world and face reality. life ain't simple, we can't change the world, but we can touch someone's heart today. reach out to those you have not and help out when its needed. you will feel much better, trust me.
