Where'd you go...
As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Senior year
The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Graduation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
A Few Years Later
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Funeral
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! `I wish I did too...` I thought to my self, and I cried.

Flyleaf
I'm So Sick
I will break into your thoughts
With what's written on my heart
I will break, break
I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
Empty bliss, selfishness
I'm so sick
I'm so sick
If you want more of this
We can push out, sell out, die out
So you'll shut up
And stay sleeping
With my screaming in your itching ears
I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
Empty bliss, selfishness
I'm so sick
I'm so sick
Hear it, I'm screaming it
You're heeding to it now
Hear it, I'm screaming it
You tremble at this sound
You sink into my clothes
This invasion makes me feel
Worthless, hopeless, sick
I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
Empty bliss, selfishness
I'm so, I'm so sick
I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
Empty bliss, selfishness
I'm so (I'm so)
I'm so sick (I'm so sick)
I'm so (I'm so)
I'm so sick (I'm so sick)
Make Damn Sure
sometimes i feel that we are not good enuff for some friends. they will have to scan through the invites first before deciding if its worth they're while as a better offer might pop up and they won't want to stuck with ya if that happens coz u're not just happening as their other group of friends or u don't speak their language.
I had lots of fun at harry's bar @ esplande and new asia bar, with friends i don't see that often (beside a few) and we still had a rocking good time. so why shld we bother with the world when a few trusted friends are all that matters and i think you know who you are or soon u will realised. For those who don't think much of me, i'll leave u with this from Taking Back Sunday - Make Damn Sure!!
I just wanna break you down so badly.
Well I trip over everything you say.
Well I just wanna break you down so badly.
In the worst way. (Worst way.)

Easter
Well, till Fr. JJ dishes out something for us to do again, let's enjoy the silence and sundays, while we still can. ;]
What's your color?
Your true color is Yellow!
What's Your True Color?
Brought to you by Tickle
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!

The gospel according to U2 and Bono
BONO has declared that he is not a man of the cloth, "unless that cloth is leather". But the words of the charismatic U2 front man are nevertheless ringing out from pulpits across the United States.
The Irish rock band's songs and lyrics are being used by the Episcopal Church in so-called "U2 Eucharists" as a means of attracting young people who relate to the group's social activism
Earlier attempts by churches to connect to youth culture have usually involved ministers in open-toed sandals strumming acoustic guitars and singing Kumbaya to the general embarrassment of all. Yet, in parishes from California to Maine, worshippers are flocking to hear U2 classics such as Beautiful Day, Pride and Peace on Earth rolled into a service of prayer.

i long for a quiet weekend
woke up @ 0630hrs, to attend my youngest niece's baptism at st ignatius church @ kings road. was surprise to see that we're the only family that is having the baptism @ 10am in the morning. guess it was specially arranged by my bro. anyways, my niece, isabella who is 5 weeks old was crying most of the time, contrast to her older sis. we headed to the in-laws place in Clementi for refeshment. took some pictures & videos of my nieces but unfortunately, i'm unable to upload the pictures as i guess i need a certain software for it, or do i?? apparently, the wizard cannot detect a suitable software for my HP. so anyone who do read this, please do let me know.
anyways, after clementi, headed home - took my files & headed to church @ 3pm. the usual sat routine ended @ 7pm, had dinner and slacked at melvin's place till 3am in the morning, watching Big Momma House 2 and Underworld: Evolution with crystal, mel & jp. a bad idea actually knowing that we have to get up at 6.30am in the morning. but knowing me, i got up at 7.35am when i should be in church at 7.00am. so took my time and laze around for the next mass @ 10.15am but the choir prac was at 8.55am. was pretty much stoned in church, luckily everything when fine without any incident compared to the feedback the system was giving on sat. after mass, had lunch with the rest, went home to changed and caught some shut eye for half an hr before heading back to church for the combined choir prac for maundy thursday & good friday. was dozing off most of the time and mel had to keep me awake. we were mighty glad when it was all over and headed home after having Macs.
its been one long day, but one thing made me smile. after mass today, as we were waiting for jen, someone caught my eye at the church carpark. this girl was looking straight at me and i was like whoa!! she's pretty and kinda tall, and i don't think i've seen her around in church before. so who's that girl n will i see her again?? hopefully i will...should have taken a pic of her. oh well, hopefully, she will vist me in my dreams. ;)
oh yes, as the sunday sunset choir will be swapping mass with the sat sunset choir on Apr 29th, Sat. we have decided to set the date for jen's virginal exp to a club on that day. so mark that date and we're gonna party just like 1999!!

there's something about jen!
We're planning to bring her clubbing next month; her first virginal exp to da club!! It's gonna be like the event of the year!! Everyone and everybody will turn out, i tell ya!! The joke was even her mom will tell her, 'what took you so long!!' and takes out a wine bottle that has been kept specially for this occassion and the dad will call up his friends and relatives using the 'red phone'!! We'll have a prior celebration at the void deck with all the relatives from across asia!! Maybe, they will declared it a holiday! Jen's day!! LOL...
Jen, on the other hand has kept us entertained during the weekend... from the 'magic trick' she showed us on friday to the massage conversation we had on saturday and to eating pasta on sun. My beloved sister, not sure what cause the change but she has opened up so much that sometimes its scary!! hahahaha... realised that this is the first time that i'm blogging abt her... :p yup, i love this crazy little sister of mine...soon to be weird but we will still love her; it juz the travelling to IMH will be a hastle. LOL!! juz imagine, instead of visting churches, we will be visting jen every sunday! hahahaha...i swear she's gonna kill me if she ever read this! :p you know i love you sis! hahahhaa....
anyways, i just realised that it's gonna be one mth since i started work, how time flies! and finally i am getting paid!! Woohoooooooo!! going to get paid this weekend!! of which it juz brought to mind that my cousin and family will be migrating to australia on apr 3rd. Which means i won't get to watch my god-daughter grow up or see my very good friend. u see my best friend married my second cousin. Its the most beautiful thing that happened to her as she went thru a lot of ups and downs. well, i am gonna miss her lotssss... planning to have dinner with them this weekend too! not sure how i am gonna work this out. On friday, gonna catch 'Camra' perform @ HOME. Sat gonna catch them @ Substation (not cfm as yet), might be meeting up with fiza for dinner too, and on sunday gonna have dinner with my cousin & family! its gonna be a busy weekend!
hmmm.... no sure why but i'm feeling all warm and good inside, a big contrast from my last post but i'm not in love. not sure where this vibe is coming from but it feels good and i hope its stays for a while. :):):)
I was watching Ladder 49 ytd on VCD and it juz blew me away. The question travolta mentioned, 'how can you walk into a burning building when everyone else is running out!' 9/11 didn't real hit me as it was hard to imagine but after watching Ladder 49, it kinda hit me and i ask myself the same question. so to all firefighters around the world, "I Salute You!!" I guess no one has a tougher job than u guys!! Keep The Faith!!

its been a nice weekend, hope it gets better next weekend. its almost three now and i should be getting some sleep, cheers to a great work/school week ahead. God Bless!

Top of the World
Here's a little advice for the young at heart- if you intend to go clubbing and getting wasted, do make sure you have trusted friends around you. Who will be able to take care of you and send you right to your doorstep.
And after all the puking and cursing everthing that you hate in your life and all that jazz, you wake up sober the next day and call your friends thanking them for everything and apologising but at the same time, you'll find yourself saying, 'We should do this again!'
So, yes, it was yet another swell night out with a bunch of beautiful friends. Thanks to robin & melvin for footing the bills, come month end, it will be my turn! Its gonna be yet another great night out! Love u guys! Will upload the pics as soon as i get it from Joanne, in the meantime please show your support for the Ms Singapore Universe 2006, MSU07 and SMS to 73388.

A hole in the heart!

We found out when Kristie was just a week old that she had a septal defect - a hole in the heart. We began seeing a cardiologist who advised us to wait and see if the hole would close on its own. He said that most holes actually do close spontaneously. But by the time Kristie was 3, the hole hadn't shown any signs of change. Our cardiologist felt it was time to have it repaired and recommended open-heart surgery.
We had more or less decided to go ahead with surgery when we were told of the Nemours Cardiac Center and Dr. Moore. He explained interventional catheterization as an alternative to surgery and showed us the device that could be used to fill the hole in Kristie's heart. After examining her, he felt she was an ideal candidate for the new procedure.
At first, we were a little skeptical about the catheterization because it was so new and there wasn't much of a track record. But after meeting with Dr. Moore, we had complete confidence that this was the way to go. He gave us an account to read of another patient he had done. We also researched the procedure on the Internet and felt more reassured.
It turned out to have been absolutely the right decision. The procedure took just a few hours. That evening, Kristie was ready to jump out of bed - she was feeling just great. We were in the hospital for less than 2 days. Kristie went home with no stitches, no pain - just a band-aid on her groin where the catheter was inserted. Her follow-up shows that everything has healed perfectly. And naturally, we were especially relieved that we didn't have to put her through open-heart surgery.
We are a family that feels very happy and grateful to have both the Nemours Cardiac Center and Dr. Moore to turn to. - Kristie's parents

Just found out today that my little niece, Isabella, has a hole in her heart; she's only 16 days old. my bro found out today from the doctors and he's pretty much upset. Little Isabella has to be on medication till the situation gets better. how long will that be, i do not know.
If anyone has any similiar experience or encountered such situations, please do share. Hope Isabella will have a happy ending just like little Kristie! Please do pray for me little niece!

Knights of the Round Table!
Sometimes its not the place u're at but the company that makes it memorable. So to the guys and babes, thanks for the memorable time; and to andi - i just wanna tell u one thing, "WE DIDNT START THE FIRE!!" Have a great time at Civil Defence, man!! Finally, they got ur freaking ass to do something good for the nation; just don't drop that soap!! lol
Time check: 0800hrs (8am), been out for the past 15 hrs and i'm heading out again. Meeting Venassa for mass @ Risen Christ, then we're gonna do breakfast after which i'm heading back to yishun again for combined choir practise @ 1pm and it will last till three odd. so yup, i have not slept and will not be sleeping for the next 12 hrs i guess. But in the words of our forefathers, "jia you!!"
okie okie, i'm gonna be late! i'm outta here!
Edited @ 2000hrs (8pm)
Didn't get to meet Ven as she wasn't feeling well, so i made a detour to The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd as they rest would be there. The choir was awesome, but then again its the infamous Peter Loh's Choir, so you don't expect to hear anything less...awesome stuff!! the only flaw was the sound system, someone seriously has to fix the delay and cancel out the reverb on the altar mics, man. It ain't the National Stadium.

Party Starter!!
Spirits in the Material World
The first time I saw it, it gave me goose bumps but upon watching it for the thired time, I discovered a certain flaw. If u look closely, the 'spirit' can be spotted when the guard radios in. So obviously they would have seen it already. So I think it's bull, the thing looks like a cut out or a fig. 11 drap in white cloth.
NOW, let me draw ur attention to something else that i've spotted. Look and u'll see a small white thingi just after the barrier pole, the same time they saw the 'fig 11'. The small white thingi which looks like a light, hops above the fence as it ends and you know what they say abt light thingi. It mysteriously appears in some photos. Hmmmmm..... so let me know if u see it too.

Its FRIDAY!
This is ANFIELD!
What Liverpool needs are true scousers; carra, robbie, owen, macca and gerrard, all came from the youth academy. Under Houllier, they have won five trophies in 2001. The Worthington Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Charity Shield. The only thing that eluded them was the League Champions Title. After winning five trophies, one would imagine that the league title will be Liverpool's next season. But the unexpected happened; Houllier sold macca, redknapp, fowler, berger and bought players who eventually had to be sold by rafa.
This season I expect Rafa to sell Crouch, Cisse and maybe Morientes. Bring back Pongolle, Le Tallec, Mellor and giving players from the academy a chance to play in the big stage. Here's a glimpse of the youth team and I expect some of team will find their way into the senior squad soon.
Even though we lost, we will still keep our heads high and will reign Europe next season again. Next stop, Arsenal!

Far Away
Lyrics - All The Right Reasons :.
Nickelback
This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there’s just one left
‘Cause you know,
you know, you know
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you’ll be with me
and you’ll never go
Stop breathing if
I don’t see you anymore
On my knees, I’ll ask
Last chance for one last dance
‘Cause with you, I’d withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I’d give it all
I’d give for us
Give anything but I won’t give up
‘Cause you know,
you know, you know
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you’ll be with me
and you’ll never go
Stop breathing if
I don’t see you anymore
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know
I wanted
I wanted you to stay
‘Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
‘Cause I’m not leaving
Hold on to me and
never let me go

back on the road again...
On 1st March, I started my job at a call centre @ IBP, Jurong. So far its okie, had to answer calls on our second day there, how's that for a start! Still got a mountain to climb though. Not sure how tmr will be but i'm hoping for the best. 26 days to pay day, sigh, thats how broke i am after not working for a long time but with God's grace, i'll be able to make it though somehow.
Tired and hungry now, had combined choir practise today for holy week. Fr J.J is a big boost to the choirs and its great to have him back in our Parish. After practise, we headed to Northpoint for late lunch. Fred, Mel, Corrinne, Pat, Julia, Jen, Hatsuee, Melissa and myself. After that, under Julia nose, we went around Northpoint hunting for a pressie but i felt bad as i didnt/couldnt contribute to it as i'm dead broke. but nonetheless, she was excited at all the gifts she received. after which we headed to starbucks, minus hatsuee and melissa. Not sure why but there was never a dull moment when Fred is around, even Jen was at her best today. We almost brought the roof down at starbucks. While sitting at Starbucks, with dessert and drinks, reminded me of secret recipe in jb and suggest that we head there again one day but the response wasn't overwhelming. Mel suggested going to KL instead; dump the younger ones at the hotel room & head to zouk! :p Sigh, sometimes i wish that the good times will just roll and never have to end. That time will just stand still whenever we're out having a good time.
anyways, felt bad about something today. i am juz trying to reach something that is not accessible, not in this lifetime anyway.

Rochster's Foundation
Well, Liverpool kicked Man United out of the FA Cup ytd. It will be great if Wigan wins the Carling Cup and end Man United miserable season without a trophy. Where will you be next season Fergie?? Next stop for Liverpool, the Champions League clash with Benfica! Its a match that I won't wanna miss.
Well, ytd was a good day at choir. Rene, Caroline and Manda :) dropped by after mass, they attended mass too ytd. It was good to see them after so long but was sad that I couldn't catch up with them as we had practise to go to. Anyways, debz is getting married in June at St. Joseph Church at Victoria Street. Yes, it will be good going back to my old Anthonian school and relieved the memories. As for Debz, I am really thrilled that she's getting married. Guess Debz and Del will be the most happening married couple in town. I certainly hope ppl will wake up and put an end to 'dishing' Debz coz she's going to the next chapter in her life and you're not. :p
Well, everything is moving so fast and it's hard to imagine that a decade is almost over. A decade, can you believe it! Y2K seem like only two years ago, I remember coming back to work on New Year's day to test the system for any glitches. Thankfully everything went well, the planet didn't shut down. ;p Guess we all had the feeling the Y2K is gonna be the space age era but I guess we have to wait a little longer.
Anyways, gotta get out of here and get ready for confirmation prac soon, but before i go please remember to support the rochster's foundation!!
Spirits in a material world.
please do comment if you have a logical explaination or believe that what you see is really a ghost!!
since i'm on the topic of ghost and such, the other day i was in my room getting ready to accompany my mom to Northpoint when I heard my mom knock on my door. Since I was already changed, I opened the door but my mom was not anywhere near. I found my mom in her room which is adjacent to mine, and asked if she had knocked on my door and my mom said no. I was like okie!! and this reminded me of another incident which happened last year when my elder sis was on her home leave. my younger sis have gone out and she has the habit of not locking the door when she goes out. so i locked the door after she had left, and sat down to watch tv with my elder sis. after a long while, i went to kitchen to get a drink and return only to find that the door unlocked. i asked my sis if anyone open the door again, she replied no and i might have imagine that i'd locked it. she told me to juz forget abt it but i was 100% sure i locked it. the fact that my sis is nun and asked me to keep hush abt it, kept me thinking if she did see something but didn't want to tell me. well, somethings never change... i do believe that there's something in my hse but as long as it doesn't disturb i am fine with it. ;p
a friend recently confided with us that she was possessed a few months back. the unrightful owner however didn't managed to take full control of her. i guessed 'she' didn't go through the whole documentation proccess. so a lesson in life here, short cuts don't get you anywhere! audious....

Chelsea v Barcelona
I guess the whole world will be watching the game btwn Barca and Chelski (as mel puts it). Usually we would always be backing the English team but I guess thime around I guess we will all be backing Barca to beat the crap out of Chelsea. But have you seen the condition of their pitch. a billion dollar club with a field that is worse than our Jalan Besar Stadium.
Even Barca has blasted Chelsea for Stamford Bridge pitch. "The Spaniards (Barca) believe that Mourinho is hoping the uneven turf will affect Barcelona's passing game and help Chelsea to gain a first-leg advantage before the return match on March 7." Another cheap plot from Mourinho. Perhaps he can take an advise from "The Cause: Joga Bonito".

welcome to the suck!
"you know that you threw a great party when ppl ask/say:-
- this is the best party! thanks!
- when's the next party?
- can i have her number.."
the night started out with ap & soffie, rod & carol, crystal, melvin, n ap's friend. soon we had our usual space, and our own party started and ap's friends of friends began to fill in, so did the drinks. ;p it was crazy, we had four bottles of god knows what, and loads of jugs..hahaha. i was pretty high, mel was gone earlier than expected but bounce back later on, crystal's toe got stepped on..........again, edna left early, carol's heel broke, rod was trying to puke to clear his systems, lesbians in the corner making out and ms big boobs at the table in front of us (in obar), three quartes were exposed to the world! the guys almost had a nose bleed i tell ya! we had a toast to caroline's entry is idol, soffie's friend az who'll be leaving for aussie and my birthday on tues. well, the party ended early for us, lucas & friends picked up crystal & mel, rod and carol went off earlier, ap and company were still keeping the party inside alive, and me? well, i called robin for round two.
i headed for 'home' at riverwalk , the former mad monks. met jessica, mag and andi there. it was kinda good seeing mag and jessica although we didnt talk much. well, i got myself a burbon coke and stoned while robbo, andi, jessica and mag went out to the dance floor. yes, rob on the dance floor but i missed it, damn! the music wasn't much of my taste until 'manic street preachers' came on and from there on, the music's kicking but i was stoning in the corner. ;p not sure what time we got out of there, but mag stayed on.
next stop was nasi lemak at sembawang road. didn't know what started it but rob & i were taking a trip back the eighties. fuckin' up the songs to prove that andi is gay, (but of course, he's not) lol....from depeche mode to frankie goes to hollywood. as i type i remember what started it all...the pic of andi. it started the ball rolling and it didnt end there, we brought it home, well almost. we were dishing out eighties music as we made our way back, i tell ya it was crazy and fun at the same time. the eighties will always be remembered!
finally reached home close, 6am sunday and i left the house at 1.30pm sat, coz we had a wedding to do. wedding is to be a happy occassion but this was not, there was tension all around. anyways, got home and slept like a log...i finally got up at five in the evening. had a very late lunch, watched tv and just chilled out. caught 'Jarhead' with robin and andi later, an interesting movie. one thing is for sure, when you're in the army, you get to see things you'll never see or experience as a civilian.
anyways, monday just didn't get off to a good start for me...sometimes i wished things were much more simpler.

past and the present
hmmm...was talking to pat just now and she mentioned that mel's got a secret for me but he has made a promised to the rest that he will only tell me after my birthday. wonder what it is...but rest assured its not someone liking me...sigh. i wish it was though! ;p i'll be thrilled! hee hee..
anyways, got up early today as tony wanted to have breakfast which became brunch again. we went to town to have lunch at raffles place, brought back memories for him though as he worked there before. he had a deprieved chillhood i guess, as he was thrilled by the lion dance troupe...hahahaha. we went our separate ways from there as we had to go to pasir ris to meeet a client. i visited my old office and met up with my ex-colleagues and boss. they moment i entered, they all wished me happy birthday in advanced and commented that i've put one weight. the office have changed so much but the people there looked younger actually. hahaha...it was nice catching up with up past once in a while. had a chat with my ex-immediate superior and she pointed out few things that i should be aware of in my next job and areas that i should improve. although some were hard to swallow but i guess one should take it constructive. it was funny, two colleagues told me that they were actually thinking of me and notice that i've not come by for a very long time and before they know it, i'm there! hahahaha.. oh yes, i've joined in the bid for the few million dollars in toto. a percentage of it will be whoa!! i'll be like joe millionaire??? hahaha...
anyways, gonna play my game now before i turned in but before i go i would like to leave you with, "New Species Discovered in Indonesia Jungle". 'The scientists said they discovered 20 frog species — including a tiny microhylid frog less than a half inch long — four new butterfly species and at least five new types of palms.'

nothing much happened today. supposed to have breakfast with tony but we ended up having lunch instead. had a call from 'first prinicipal financial', they wld like to have a discussion with me on fri at raffles place. not sure if i am cut out being a f.a. hence i am seeking the advice of my own f.a. ;p had another call from eps and they will profil me for this job as a sales co-ordinator at scs in bedok. had another agency who said she will profile for a smiliar kind of job in a computer firm in science park 2, have not heard from her as yet. hopefully i get an interview this week and start work next week, that will be cool.
okie i'm outta here, gonna fill the hungry stomach. :)
you will never walk alone

No more will the light shine on man united as someone has beaten them to it. introducing murinho & company and their theatrical performance a few hours ago, certainly deserve an oscar, if not an emmy award. tell me how can one play football with a bunch of players who would be better off in a thearical play or something. thats not how football is being played, murinho! come on and play decent football like the rest of the teams.
www.liverpoolfc.tv
Rafael Benitez has launched a scathing attack on the theatrics of Chelsea winger Arjen Robben for the incident that saw Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina sent-off during the Reds' 2-0 defeat at Chelsea.
Benitez did not condone Reina's reaction when he touched Robben, but felt Chelsea's Dutch international made a meal out of the situation.
"I'm in a hurry and I must go to the hospital to see how Robben is, he could be in hospital for a week," commented Benitez.
"It's a crazy situation. Reina made a mistake when he was provoked and touched Robben on the face, but has he broken his neck? I don't understand why you can kick everyone in a game then you touch one player and you are sent-off.
"What sort of professional would do that to another professional knowing he could make him miss three matches?"
Liverpool are likely to appeal against the decision which is set to rule Reina out of the coming matches against Charlton, Wigan and Arsenal.
"On the game itself we created chances in the first half but we made a mistake from a corner and we paid the price for it. Chelsea are a good team and played good counter attacks," added the manager.
"What we need to do is score more goals from the chances we create. In the first half we played well but as soon as we made the mistake Chelsea could play the game as they wanted. They're a good side."
------------------------------------------------
Rafa, rafa why didn't fowler play today? why did u field crouch instead of morientas? and bring on cisse instead of morientas? why didn't u bring on garcia much ealier in the game. i think it high time, you look back to the academy and find a true liverpudian striker. the same academy that produced the likes of owen, gerrard, fowler, macca, and carragher. maybe we could find the next big thing from the youth squad.

friendster
my friendster profile got viewed 16 times since 1 feb 2006, guess its all time new record for me. hahaha... well, i'm bored! man, gotta get up early tmr and meet up for lunch and more vibration jokes and then go through three hours of choir practise for the confirmation mass. sometimes i asked myself, why do we go through all this when we could spend our sundays doing better things, like chilling out mary j. blige's 'be without you'. i simple love the song, been hearing it over and over again and never getting bored of it. its D song at the moment for me. i got it one my friendster and myspace.com. sigh, can't go to sleep; the stomach is feeling a bit funny. i am kinda upset about some things that i know i shouldn't be in the first place coz if that's the way its gonna be then let it be. i'm not going lose sleep over it....starting tmr. ;p although there was a downside to things today, some made my day like nessa for the hugs, fred for making us laugh till our stomach ache, the choir mates for the company and someone who gave me a reason to smile! it's o'four-thirty hours and i'm going to bed; it's just another day for you and me in paradise!
be without u
its just one of those days that u end the day feeling lonely and sad. its funny though, three hours earlier, i was laughing till my stomach hurts like hell becoz of fred and his vibration jokes. the kopitiam, i guess, have never seen such hilarious people ... we were just laughing at almost everything, jen, jp, mel and hatsuee, oh yes, i miss out julia, as she was practically on the floor laughing. lol...but sadly everything good has to come to an end, as we made our way back. walked jp home, and mary anne was at home, so we all came out to the staircase and spoke for an hour or so. she was telling how freaking big her boss house were and man, it's freaking big!! how do did ppl keep up with maintenance of the house and everything else in it. but no, that didnt get me sad. some people live in castles and still have to slog all their life to pay up the hse, while others live in a 5 room with the hse being paid up fully. ;p so yes, i contented with my 5 room hdb flat. so wot got me sad and lonely...well, its about relationships. its funny that the people who tell you stuff about love being not too bad and not to worry coz love will find its way to you, are always the ones in love; but this same people will tell u that love is totally bullshit once its over. i guess we have hear it all before! well, like boy george said, love is love! but i guess it will never come my way! anyways, its gonna be 'ministry of sound' next sat - be there if u want to!
darn, mau u winning at old trafford against fulham. sigh, if only fulham could do a blackburn. anyways, big match tmr at stamford brigde, chelsea vs liverpool! kickoff at midnight! liverpool will be the downfall of chelsea. i guess almost every hardcore football fans will be behind liverpool tmr. the only two people that i hate at chelsea, will be drogba and murinho! i guess everybody will love to see murinho's team lose the title race and also get booted out of champions league by barca! so its gonna be an interesting champions leagues this year - chelsea vs barcelona; benefica vs liverpool; bayern munich vs ac milan; real madrid vs arsenal. matches being played on feb 21 and 22. oh yes, three days before liverpool meet benefica at Estadio da Luz, liverpool will have to play host to man u on feb 18 at anfield. it will be a classic to see fowler score against man united and kick man united out of the fa cup. the fairy tale starts tmr, when liverpool kicks chelsea ass, then everton kicks chelsea out of fa cup, and being beaten twice in a row will demoralised them and eventuallly they will lose to barca at stamford bridge! how's that for a fairy tale ending for chelsea! credit to Wigan who is up against man united in the carling cup final, and currently six in the table. hope they will stay in top flight and qualify for europe next season. credit to the manager too who birthplace is none other than Liverpool! ;p

its a movie weekend..
its been two weeks since i've resign and nothing's come up so far. although i do have an option of going back to the shift work job at jurong east or be an insurance adviser with g.e. somehow i'm kind scared going back to the working world again after going thru a hair raising experience at my previous company. a job phobia but oh well, money don' grow on trees. my cheque came in ytd, not much though but it will do for the time being.
was quite surprised that they showed 'return to pontianak' on five just now. quite draggy but it eventually scared the shit of me. u know how movies like to scare the shit of u by the music, well this movie didn't have to, i guess silence is the best..like what they did in the original ring. you got to catch it if u can, click her for more info about 'return to pontianak'. it was shown here in singapore during the 'screen singapore' in august 2005 together with other classics like the 1958's 'sumpah pontianak'. 'rtp' actually made it to the u.s. but its called the 'voodoo nightmare'. kinda cool website actually, Kyonsi Home of Asian Horror and more. i guess the other movie that really scared me was shutter. it u have not caught it, my advice don't. hee hee... esp if u r into photography, but then again, i guess u had your share of spooky experience.
okie moving on now...please check out my friendster profile. i think its was too cool... ;p and if u log on u find the video of mary j. blige 'be without you' which has been playing on my mind lately. i got it playing on myspace.com too. and it you do log on to myspace.com, u will find the ride of ur life, final destination 3 or as they put it, this ride will be the death of you. wat say you?? about to watch the trailer on www.fd3movie.com. okie...it might give u another look at roller coaster ride again. well, from the trailer its like, whats new but since i've caught fd and fd2, why not make it fd3. i kinda prefered fd2 to the first one actually. lets see if the third installment, hopefully the last, lives up to it. hmmm...what if there was a fourth installment, what will it be? hmmm...maybe i should put a poll on this. ;p anways, its almost 4am on a sat morning...breakfast anyone?? haha. yup its the weekend! enjoy yourself and party hard!!

feb
its feb! how time flies...with chinese new year hols over, the next holiday will be april 14 which is still a long way more. looking at the calendar, we've got 4 more long weekends to look forward to... good friday (fri, 14 april), labour day (mon, 1 may), vesak day (fri, 12 may), christmas (mon, 25 dec). an interesting holiday this year will hari raya haji will falls on new year's eve (sun, 31 dec). so does that mean we get another holiday off?? just like cny this year?? well, guess we'll have to wait and see.
went for lunch at julia's place, had a fun time bonding with the rest..ended up having dinner there too. ;p guess we should have more of this. :) anyways, received an sms from her and called her when i got home. the conversation didnt go quite well but she mentioned something that got me thinking...i should not be sweet 24/7, girls just don't dig that. they prefer a disagreement and arguement once in a while. its a kind of mistake that we tell others not to make but end up making the same mistakes. anyways, missed you today. hope u'll have a good week and maybe we'll see each other again soon.

the morning after
my tongue's still having the after taste of vodka lime from last night...or shld i say early morning. somehow rnb & hip hop didn't seem quite appealing after being exposed to house music. yes, i am a new convert to house music or maybe it was the vodka...haha. anyways, m.o.s is cool although the drinks are abit on the high side but its worth it. thanks mel for everything, come feb 11th, drinks on me! su, it was great seeing you again after so long. we should catch up soon! :) crystal, never have i seen someone got burned and step on many times, in the space of two hours. we shld do this again... this time wear something to protect yr fragile feet. ;p love u! oh yes, if u're reading this, get andy to come on feb 11th, k. if u're not reading this...i'll be asking u to read to it. hee hee...okie i'm outta here. its gonna be lunch at julia's or will it be brunch for me?? oh well, anything goes as long as its food. to everyone out there.....happy chinese new year. yes, i'm still high! hahahhahaa.............

a boring 1st day of cny
might be catching the match later, man u vs wolverhampton at the 24hrs kopitiam near chris place...hmmmmm, is it open today?? guess there's only one way to find out and good exercise is in place. the liverpool and portsmouth match is at 2am but i guess we wont stay around to watch although i will love to. talking abt liverpool, the god is back at anfield...robbie fowler! the prodigal son returns to anfield, the same day that cisse got arrested for assaulting his wife. the good times are over cisse, now its time to move on and let fowler teach u a thing or two or maybe three. like how to put the ball at the back of the net, instead of over the net. yes, we need a good finisher and fowler did just that against man u two weeks back. yes, liverpool will rise again like i said and we take the spot from man u and give chelsea a scare! incidentally, everton held chelsea to draw ytd. so i shall leave now to watch wolverhampton kick man u out of the fa cup! will be back to give the low down of the the game.
before i go...for those u have tried to reach me but can't leave me an sms, i'll get back to you!! ciao!

back on the train again
met rob for lunch today, and we spoke abt life and how's things have changed since we've know each other. which kinda brought me to reality that things are moving faster that it use to be, and if we're not fast enuff to catch it; it might just slipped by us. also being recently jobless, have not helped that much either considering the fact the i've job hop quite a few times, which is a worrying trend. i am hoping to get back to the insurance industry which is kinda difficult actually considering the fact that i don't have the papers but i'm hoping that 12 yrs of experience in that industry might add some weight to it. looking back i might say that i might have made a mistake by leaving the company but then again by leaving, i gained exp, friends and contacts. i hope that i could go back to the industry that gave me my first pay check! well, i'll juz have to keep my fingers crossed and hope that i get an interview this week. pray for me k! :)
long weekend this week and i;m so looking forward to it, although i am not sure why; considering the fact that i'm not working at the moment. maybe its becoz i wanna meet with some good ol'friends and juz chill. i believe that its not the place that make the occassion memorable but the company.

Patience
(whistle)
Shed a tear cause I'm missin' you
I'm still alright to smile
Girl, I think bout you every day now
Was a time when I wasn't sure
But you set my mind at ease
There is no doubt you're in my heart now
Said "Woman, take it slow
It'll work itself out fine
All we need is just a little patience"
(patience)
Mmmm, yeah
I sit here on the stairs Cause I'd rather be alone
If I can't have you right now I'll wait dear
Sometimes I get so tense but I can't speed up the time
But you know love there's one more thing to consider
Said woman take it slow and things will be just fine
You and I'll just use a little patience
Said sugar take the time cause the lights are shining bright
You and I've got what it takes to make it
We won't fake it, I'll never break it
Cause I can't take it
(whistle)
little patience, mmm yeah, mm yeah
need a little patience, yeah
just a little patience, yeah
some more patience, yeah
could use some patience, yeah
gotta have some patience, yeah
all it takes is patience
just a little patience
is all you need (background vocals)
I'VE BEEN WALKING THE STREETS AT NIGHT
JUST TRYING TO GET IT RIGHT
ITS HARD TO SEE WITH SO MANY AROUND
YOU KNOW I DON'T LIKE BEING STUCK IN THE CROWD
AND THE STREETS DON'T CHANGE
BUT MAYBE THE NAMES
I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR THE GAME CAUSE I NEED YOU
YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, CAUSE I NEED YOU
OOO I NEED YOU, WHOA I NEED YOU
OOOOH, ALL THIS TIME
(ah)
send in the clowns
sigh, not a good way to start the week. liverpool didn't deserve to lose at man u. they're always damn lucky and why oh why is cisse still playing??? he has been ineffective eversince we sold baros. crouch and morientas should make him fight for his place and not take things for granted. anyways, so we lost but its not over yet. we will still claim the second spot from man united and give chelsea a scare. but still, its not a good start to the week. anyways, if u have noticed i have deleted some pic as the she didnt want it on my blog. it kinda hurt me but oh well i guess things aren't always a bed of roses. i guess our friendship is going downhill from here i guess and i don't understand why. you were everything that i wish my gal to be and i really loved the way u laugh. guess i've told u that a million times but i guess it didnt cut out when i told u that i wanted us to be more than friends. you said u prefered the way things are at the moment and wish not to spoil it, but somehow the calls and sms just stopped coming... and now i'm here thinking about you and a song but none comes to mind. not sure if things are going to be the same again, but i know i'm gonna miss u loads. guess i'm just a big loser in life, work, love and friends...introducing the biggest clown of all times---> me! i'm sure you will be entertained. esp when i was working at my last job where i would make mistaken every now and then, and how i get fcuked by the boss every now and then. being shouted at almost everyday, banging of files and tables and etc etc....yes i had a miserable life at office!! well, like robbie willams sang, 'let me entertained you!' but during my three months of pure hell, the worst of my entire life, i had you by my side. always giving me reason to smile and carry on, no matter how bad it gets. u gave me a reason to live, and i thank you for that. its funny though that i'm losing you just when i have quit my job. wonder if i'll ever see or hear from u again... only time will tell.

Burn for you
Guess I'm just feelin' blue
It's been so long
Since I've seen your face
This distance between me and you
That voice you showed me is not the one that I know
I must be strung out on what I do
Don't hang up again...
Theres nothing else I know how to do But I burn for you
What am I gonna do
Burn for you
I guess it feels like your always alone
And i feel that way too
It's so hard to explain to you
Please understand what I do I burn for you
What am I gonna do
I burn for you
Burn for you
Took my trouble to a bar tonight
From another point of view
But there's nothing new
I missing you I burn for you
What am I gonna do
Burn for you
Burn for you I burn for you
What am I gonna do
I burn for you
Burn for you
What am I gonna do
I burn for you
Burn for you
Burn..for...you.. . .

do you remember?
do you remember, hiding in the drain under the wooden plank and waited for the truck to pass over. u wanted to know what's the feeling until our friend's uncle saw us and shouted for the truck to stop and we ran like hell!!
do you remember throwing water bombs at our friends from the top of my block and geting some in return when we were downstairs.
do you remember playing hide and seek in the big ass carpark till the evening and our parents would be shouting for us to come back home from the blocks. the same carpark where we would feast on rambutans, durians and other fruits which were raided from the nearest kampong.
do you remember the long walks we used to take after choir from chong pang all the way to sembawang macs? we sang carols no matter what season it was, got chased by dogs and bitch abt other people.
do you remember when i missed u at the airport, I cried my lungs out thinking i would never see you again.
do you remember the times we would spend after choir at BK & LJS just chilling out and singing carols no matter what season it was? there's always something every weekend to look forward too.
do you remember the time i cried like a kid and you held me in your arms. i guess you were the first one (from the choir) to see me cry.
do you remember when u held me in your arms and taught me how to french kiss? i thought i had died and gone to heaven.
do you remember carrying the big ass tv from my house to your house. it seem like eternity getting it up to ya house.....surprise that it's still working!
do you remember running but stopped when u saw me looking at u and just walk briskly. saw u again and manda's place and found out that u were manda's best friend. i was slightly embrassed! ;p
do you remember coming on msn asking me what was wrong although we don't often talked to each other. i really appreciated it.
do you remember meeting me up for coffee after hearing from your girlfriend that i had problems and offered me options and solutions....will never forget it. you guys are the best!
do you remember the time i gave u that little green frog during your exams; and the way your face light up when u saw it. it was like a kodak moment.
do you remember giving me hugs when you notice that i wasn;t feeling good although we have not gotten to know each other well enough...but it really did touch me! thanks!
do you remember waiting for our bus at the interchange, i held your hand and u didn't reject it. we just stood there and swang our hands.

something worth hanging on to...
there u were, sitting in the smokey room and the nights about to end. the music's drowning every conversation possible. knew if i dont do this now, i wld never get a change to know you. so with confidance intact, i approached you, we spoke for awhile or manage too until the techno music drowned us out. so i had to resort to chatting thru the sms method and thats when we exchange numbers. after which, several sms and calls followed. we got to know each other better and you crack me everytime. we met up in groups but was always lost for words. so we stuck to sms n calls as we felt more comfortable this way. its funny how that we cld talk for hours on the phone, but grow blank when we meet up.
somehow, today was different. we spoke for an hr or so, n i decided to meet up wif u in tampines much to ur surpise. so tampines it was, the weather somehow played a part in it, setting the right mood for everything. got to know more about you and ur family n things u miss having in your life; your hopes and dreams! somehow, i felt attracted to you for the first time. wanted very much to hold ur hand n let u know that i cared. today i took a trip back to that smokey room, six months ago, on my way back from tampines, and i think to myself, it was worth it! i wanna hold ur hand again! :)

right after bloggin' my previous post, i received an sms from my bud, tony. his year old kid has been admitted to kk hospital. he'd accidentally drop his yr old kid, justin and he's intending to spend the night there, so i gave him a call. he said he would come back first to get some stuff and would head back so that angie (his wife), cld get home n get some sleep. so yup, i spent the night at kk, keeping my bud company while he watch over his kid. the 'tsunami' kid as i would call him as he was born on boxing day 2005. every two hours he would get up and give a loud cry, more like a roar, man. other than that, the kid slept peacefully. wel, i tried to get some sleep inbtwn on a not friendly chair; tony joked that i could fit into one of the beds. soon it was time for me to head home, or more like to work. it was 0600hrs, and took two bus to work to get some stuff done before heading home. not sure what's the condition of the kid as yet but will update soon as i receive news from tony; of which i just did - justin is doing fine! now to get some sleep. zzzzz

a weekend with friends
well, a week into the year of 2006, and so far it has been good i must say. i kind felt a whole lot of pressue taken off me ytd and i really enjoyed myself with my best buds! attended a wedding ytd afternoon and i must say that i've never seen so many pretty gals at one wedding session before. the wedding went okie, had the reception at the canteen and chill out with the choir mates till it was time for choir. guess i never felt so relax in choir for so long. tried out something new and everything went well....might try it out again next week. after choir, it was dinner as usual and chill out session minus the booze with jen, jp, pat, shariff, mel & me. man, i can't remember the last time i laugh so hard. we got to know more abt each other and i guess it brought the bond even closer. we played heart attack, 'tai-chi' (not sure if i got it right) and blackjack under the void deck, the rain was pouring and we were waking up the neighbours, but thank god, no one called the cops! we had supper or breakfast at 7-11 and headed home after that. it was five in the morning, the rain showed no signs of letting up and we made our way home, promising to do this again soon.
back on my home front, i've submitted my letter and my last would be on the 13 Jan 2006, but i've been offered a job with the marine dept with the same companu. a perm job and we're talking abt benefits, awls and bonus, weekend n public holidays off, what else can i say. will have to see how that one goes. another piece of good news will be that FR J.J. will be coming to our parish as a priest and it will be huge boost to the choir. well, looks like things are looking up in the year of 2006!
before i go i leave with you this, 'Wedding couple rush for 666 date. Officals notics 'sinister' surge in June 6 bookings to tie knot'. yes, '666' is coming and couples in the netherlands are setting their wedding date on 06/06/06 or 6/6/6. wonder will anyone buy 4-D this time around! ;p
