a date with chivas....

well, it was an awesome and memorable saturday...

started off with a farewell lunch with my colleagues at sofra, a turkish cafe & restaurant. the food was great that we wanted to have seconds. we tried samples of everyone's food and all the dishes were great. we couldn't remember the name of the dishes but the number of the dish. like i have the number 33 and it was great!! hahaha... i have uploaded the pics on facebook but we had forgotten to take a group pic. well another time.

met melvin n corrinne in the evening for dinner at 848 whilst we waited for carol. took a cab down to club colado @ boat quay to finish the chivas bottle. there was a little bit of delay though as they couldn't find the bottle as there was more than one melvin tagged to three chivas. good thing, mel had the receipt and the manager sorted it out and we got our bottle. in between conversations and drinking, we were cam-whoring. soon the bottle was done and we were out of there.

took separate cabs to zouk and met up with debz, nicole and fer. it was good seeing debz after a long time and of course finally meeting up with nicole n fer. fer is one cool dude and nicole is beautiful. debz got us in and brought us to the members area. we had a cool view of the dance floor and people just swaying to the music. i was looking at the dj console and was thinking how cool would be to do it for just one night. anyways, the birthday gal debz was having the time of her life and good thing she didn't do a 'town house' on us or we would be gone!! haha...

left the place abt 3am and we went on our separate ways... i took a cab to pasir ris to meet up with my colleagues. good thing some were still awake, had supper/breakfast and chatted for a while. soon fatigue took the best of me and i drifted into deep sleep. was woken up abt 10ish by my 'sis' lina and got ready to check out.. had a lift from dian all the way back to yishun and i really liked her car.... actually her dad's car. soon i was home sweet home and i only crashed abt 2ish in the afternoon only to be woken up by mom to attend evening mass and it was such a drag.

it was a fun saturday and i didn't have to sacrifice any thing. did manage to make it to all three events. will do this all over again in two weeks time together with my sis 'lina' wedding.
